This morning, I heard on TV that they had created a washing machine for dog.
They said it was safe but for me it looks a bit scary and the dog who was taking a bath didn't seem so happy!

Creating my own blog was quite interesting over the last 7 weeks. I heard a lot about blog in the past but if I didn’t get the assignment from you, I would have never created one. Actually, the concept is quite interesting.
Sadly, I didn’t get enough time to write a feedback once a week, I am sorry if I was not in my postings.
Anyway, talking about animal marketing was very interesting since I love animals. I learned many things. I discovered new products and new services available for pets. I really liked the article about luxury hotels for animals.
I might have a go in the future in order to check if I have a comment. Unfortunately, the topic I chose wasn’t interesting enough for the others and I didn’t receive one apart from yours.
I now might create a more personal one in order to have contact with my friends.

People who have a cat at home surely know the brand Whiskas!
This morning I decided to have a look on their website and I actually think it is very interesting and it worthies a go if you have a cat at home.
There are many things available on this site and people can choose between many categories of information. You can click on:

- the nutritious area

Every month, there is game people can play on. This month, it is quite funny because it is an interactive one. With the keyboard, people have to catch cat’s dry food and reach a rather high score in order to win.
Prices are interesting if you have a pet at home. You get many coupon of reduction and many accessories for your favourite animal!
Another program of this website seems very nice. You can subscribe to the “Happy under the same roof” program. You just have to fill a form and then you receive many advantages by mail or e-mail.
I subscribed because I have two cats at my house. I love them but it is very expensive, especially when you are a student.
I received a first e-mail telling me that I was going to receive many practical advices, I will be able to participate to game and win great prices and that every month I will receive the Whiskas Newsletter. The most interesting fact is that I am going to have many coupons of reduction. GREAT!

How hotels want to attract more people?

Today, I am going to speak about the way luxury hotels try to attract more consumers, espacialy those who own a pet!!
Many people become crazy with their animal, they could do everything in order to satisfy them.
Actually, some have a strange behaviour and think that it is very fashion to own an animal and do weird stuff. Let see a few figures: (mainly about americans)
- A study has shown that 21% of people could get rid of their partner if they don't get along with their pet!
- 37% admit to speak with their dog and leave messages to them on the phone responder
- 79% declare offering a present for their birthday
- 35% equip them with clothes
- 62% say that they sign for their dog when they write a card

In order to satisfy "crazy owners" few hotels have created a luxury basket with high quality products made for animals. It usually contains beauty broducts, a parfume, a shampoo and cleaning tissues. It also contains the chart of menu. People just have to ask what they want for their cat or their dog. There exists light products. Obesity is not just for humans. Also animals suffer from health problems.
Eventually, if puppy feels a bit depressed, it can meet a psychologist and if it needs to walk for a while, there is a special course of health just outside the hotel.
If you are interested, you can go to the Trianon Palace in Versailles, you can go to the Crion in Paris. You can also go to the hotel George V, still in Paris.

Health insurance "Mieux-Etre Toutou Matou"

We all know that going to the veterinary surgeon is very expensive. A consultation costs at least 30 eurs, it is more expensive than a consultation for a man! Fees can become very high with vaccins, surgery... That's why the mutual health insurance company "Mieux-Etre" decided to launch a new product in 2003: the insurance "Mieux-Etre Toutou Matou".
It might be a great opportunity since French people spend over 4 billion euros a year for their domestic animals and half of them have one or two pets at home. Furthermore, the owners say that they consider those pretty little creatures as part of the family.
I am going to explain to you this new product: People have the choice between two insurances: the "Security" one or the"Tranquility" one.The first one includes surgery, radiology, laboratory analyses and euthanasia.The second one does the acts mentionned above but also does current care, medecine and prevention acts.
Consumers have extra services like a phone line they can call at any time with all kind of advice and information about food, vaccination... The company also offers care assistance when the pet die or have to go to the hospital. I almost had an heart attack when I read the price! It is at laest 60 euros per month. Consumers must still pay a franchise of 23 euros. Eventually, the company doesn't take much risk since the animals must age between 3 months and 7 years old.
It is not too risky!

Hey Everybody!!!
I finally chose my marketing subject. It took a long time but I did it!
I think it would be very interesting to talk about marketing with animals.
Indeed, I received at my house a letter about mutual health insurance for animals few weeks ago. Now, I am a bit curious to see if it is a good deal and if, in general, industrials manage to win a lot of money with all the products that concern our animals.
We are millions to have, at least, one pet at home. So, I bet it worthes the sorrow!
I am going to investigate the market and try to find good information.
My first post will deal with health insurance, of course!
